So I went to the hospital this afternoon to see the stoma team and as I was called in the nurse says you don't mind if a trainee nurse stays. Of course not was my reply!
Going back a few hours I had the runs and had emptied my bag 3 or 4 times but by 1.30pm it was all quiet on the western front {My be my body was planning a surprise attack on the nurses as I would be changing my bag 4 life and the 10 mins it takes to change it anything could happen including a fart!}. Thank the lord my body was good for a change!! 👍
I told the Stoma Nurse that I get bleeding around the base of the stoma especially when I'm cleaning it, she looked closely at it {finger crossed I don't fire my poo out or gas her with my mustard gas}! Once again I was a good boy😳
She saw the issue my stoma was not flush with my belly {not that I have a flat belly}. And the stoma was not healing very well because it was crystalising and if they knocked while cleaning they will bleed... The cure is either another procedure and have it shaved down flat with a knife!! Or burnt flat with chemicals!!  I'm being referred back to my surgeon he will let me know what is best for me.... 🤞
Also I have asked about starting running again and I need a support apparently I get measured up for one. This will help to stop my stoma from popping out of my tummy {don't need that spilling on the path it would be as slippy as a banana skin! 🍌
In my self I am feeling stronger every day but my Ken but is not improving it still feels like sitting on a golf ball......
