We yet again I've not been doing my blog.. slap my legs for being a bad boy 🤪. Any way turn the clocks back to March this year I went to have my big C review with my fantasy team .. I was picked prodded and looked at . My blood test needed doing but in general I was in a good place 🙂. I had my bloods done and was expecting the results within a couple of weeks. But behind the scince was a little viruses building up around the world call Covid 19!! (What a bad ass bastard it is). Any way the NHS went on a lock down to deal with Covid.... Back to September I got a letter from the team to say they will do me a phone consultation and the date was while on holiday in Northumberland.. 9.30 they will ring me . My first blog for a while... Sorry... Well it's Christmas day... 6am and I'm full of a bad cold. 😩 Anyway I still have issues sleeping but other than that life is good. I had my first 6 months review at the hospital in September and all was good. {Well more like fantastic according to the cancer team}. My next review is in March 2020 where I will have bloods taken, CT and MRI scan also a camera inserted into my stoma that means I will have to take the bloody Devils brew. 2 ltrs of a formula that is not nice to drink..😒😕🤔. Anyway I will do more posts. But till then have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year..

Well it's been a month of being back at work on reduced hours.... And on Monday 8th July I will be back on my shifts on full hour and I can't wait.... It's another page closed and another battle against the big C that I have won. I'm still having issues with sleeping hence it's 03:30 and I'm wide awake😳😳😳. Me and the better ½ are off to Sunny Liverpool in the morning to meet up with a few members from the camera club that I'm in to spend a weekend doing some urban photography📸 {it might end up with a bit of a drinking experience in the evening🍻}! The camera club has been a good help for me in getting back to normal.... Well first day of my shifts 6 till 2pm this week up at 4am. My bag was a good boy while in Liverpool all weekend but this morning going work it got filled while I was driving to a point where I had a leakage and had to change my bag and clean my self up in a lay by... Well 10th June and back at work... Not even 3 months since my life saving op to remove my cancer and I'm on a phased back to work {it was nice that my work colleagues showed an interest in my return and were very pleased to see be back this was very moving}. My journey has been a good one in the fact that I have had it removed and no spread so no other treatment needed 👌👍. Monday we went to see my surgeon about my stoma and it's still bleeding {this will be monitored but nothing to worry about}.... 😌 He asked if I would mind coming back to see him {date to be arranged} as I was about the 100th person to have a robotic surgery and he is planning g on getting as many as possible to meet up and have a bit of a press / PR meeting as he said that he would the hospital trust to purchase the next generation of robots the price is £2 million pounds 💷💷🤔 do I think it's worth doing... Yes again daft O Clock and I can't sleep... Anyway my body is doing strange things since my operation... My skin on my face is having bad days of dry skin and I am flaking away even when I use moisturizer. Still getting sharp stabbing pains in my Ken butt.... A d inside my tummy also my stoma give me the gentle reminder by a stabbing pain. But the one that drive me mad is....... I still get the urge to go to the loo for a number two 💩💩 even though it's impossible for me to have one the traditional way by sitting down on the thrown 🚽! I'm told it's the same for people who have lost limbs they still feel like they are still there on their body!! Before my diagnosis I purchased 3 tickets to go see Fleetwood Mac live at Wembley in June well I had UPS deliver the tickets to my door for me my daughter Kelly and Son Alex to go and see them Whoo! Well fingers crossed I should be getting signed fit 4 work tomorrow. Following on from my visit to the Stoma Nurse I have a a follow up appointment to see my surgeon in June! Well it went pear shape... Doctor was ill? Seeing him Wednesday now (will he get a fit for work before he returns} 😂😂 Been having some funny going on with my body I seam to go okay with my poo💩 for a day or two then I get the runs for a few hours the following day! 🏃♂️💩 Stoma Nurse says it's my body adjusting to the operation! The down side of the runs it makes me feel so drained of energy! People have said eat bananas 🍌🍌help or jelly babies🤔 but that will then load my temple of a body {not} with sugar... Humm not good for my diabetes....

Well the last few days or more I've felt better so much so I've picked up my camera again... My camera club have been great with encouragement well wishes and I even managed a photo shoot a Biddulph old hall it was nice see in club members I've been the club this evening and again it's nice to be with friends. It boost your healing and well being. Today I also saw one of my old fire mates Andy and I chatted away like two old men... Me with my Stoma him with is broken foot. It was great seeing him 😏💪 Each day I try and push myself in the distance I'm walking building my strength up.. Ready for when the doctors sign me fit to work... {I truly can't wait to return to work}. I see the doctor this Monday 😊
