My first blog for a while... Sorry...
Well it's Christmas day... 6am and I'm full of a bad cold. 😩
Anyway I still have issues sleeping but other than that life is good. I had my first 6 months review at the hospital in September and all was good. {Well more like fantastic according to the cancer team}.
My next review is in March 2020 where I will have bloods taken, CT and MRI scan also a camera inserted into my stoma that means I will have to take the bloody Devils brew. 2 ltrs of a formula that is not nice to drink..😒😕🤔.
Anyway I will do more posts. But till then have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year..

Well where do I start... I'm a 54 year old man type 2 Diabetic but in general good health. I'm stubborn when it come to going to the doctors.. If I go back to a round June I sat a work in my office and let a windy trump off. Not too uncommon for me but then I did a series of about ten more after each other... And no I didn't need the loo. To say I could not sleep was an understatement..... I watched the clock tick by. Tick bloody tock .. Up at 6am showered makes sure I'm looking the best for the doctor and his team. We got to the hospital at 7am .... Keen as mustard as my appointment was 8am! Just after 8am I was called in by a nurse who took my blood readings and more questions... Then I'm transfered to another room where I had a canulars fitted (took 3 trys as i was dehydrated from the powder drink). The next hour my life was about to change for ever.... I was taken to the theater {this was going to be show stopper}. Being a man I went for Sadation... I'll not bore you with the camera going up the back door..... But there he was on the monitor 'Terrytumour' Looking like an angry kid who can't have any sweets!! The words echoed through my head.. Sorry David you have a malignant rectal tumour... What was I going to tell Caz ....

Well the last few days or more I've felt better so much so I've picked up my camera again... My camera club have been great with encouragement well wishes and I even managed a photo shoot a Biddulph old hall it was nice see in club members I've been the club this evening and again it's nice to be with friends. It boost your healing and well being. Today I also saw one of my old fire mates Andy and I chatted away like two old men... Me with my Stoma him with is broken foot. It was great seeing him 😏💪 Each day I try and push myself in the distance I'm walking building my strength up.. Ready for when the doctors sign me fit to work... {I truly can't wait to return to work}. I see the doctor this Monday 😊
